The first time I met Katie and Queston, I knew they were my people. They told the story of how they had been together for years and recently got engaged and were getting married...in 5 months. They knew the time was right, and didn't want to wait any longer. The reason they picked that date? OU's football game was on a Thursday that week.
Queston's mother told the story of the first time she met Katie. She came over to their house...as the date of one of Queston's friends. After they left that night Queston's late father mentioned that a girl like Katie would be perfect for Queston. As fate would have it, that's exactly how things turned out.
Their wedding was on Queston's family property, which was adorned with his dad's old motorcycles and his prized vintage Camaro. Katie and her bridesmaids dressed at her family childhood home decorated with her mother's own bridal portrait and her parent's wedding album. I love the legacy that these two families are passing down through Katie and Queston. They are absolute salt of the earth people.
