It's that time of year that inevitably comes for most photographers. The slow season. The calm before the storm. I was very blessed to be busy most of December and January, and things will pick up next month with 3 weddings and several portrait sessions on the books. All week I have done nothing except eat and watch the Olympics. With all this free time, I've done a lot of reflecting on the past year of my life. I bought 2 vehicles (because people don't need vehicles in NYC). I have moved twice (once was across the country). I have rebranded my business. I have transitioned from a sole proprietor to an LLC. I switched day jobs. I left my day job. I have gone from being stressed and unhappy to extremely happy and content. Hank has a job that he loves. I have a job that I love. I stopped consuming artificial sweeteners. I stopped comparing myself to others. I made peace with the fact that I'm a horrible decorator. I learned how to make and like cold brew coffee. I had my work published in several regional and national blogs. I stopped eating as much fast food. I drank too much Red Bull.
I have a lot of wonderful and totally in love couples that I'll be photographing in the coming weeks. I hope you check back in.
