The Mushy Stuff

Hank and I have been together for 8 Valentines Days. Whoa. We haven't really celebrated Valentines Day since our first. It's not really our style. When we first began dating we lived about an hour and a half away from each other. I woke up to go to class and found a rose and a sweet note on my car buried underneath a couple of inches of snow. I remember thinking that it was so sweet that he drove all the way out there in the snow but I was so irritated that he didn't even knock on my door and say hello. That night I drove to OKC and we went to Nick's At The Top, which is no longer in business. Our dinner was amazing and I remember a few months later when Hank found out that Nick's had closed he was completely devastated.

Hank, I love you 365 days a year. Thank you for being you. Thank you for being awesome. Please don't buy me flowers, but if you wanna buy me a new lens, I'll get you a nice card or something. ;)

PS Many heartfelt thanks to my clients. It's because of their love and devotion that I get to do what I do. I'm so blessed to be able to help tell your love story.

PPS Happy Birthday to my sweet and wonderful mother-in-law, who has proved all the mother-in-law jokes to be wrong! Thank you for raising the man of my dreams! It's because of you that he is so funny, smart, and messy. Love you Shug!
