Dog days of summer

In case you didn't know, it's hot in Oklahoma in the summers. Every day I dread having to go outside if it's for more than a couple minutes. I also wonder when I became such a wimp. This makes scheduling sessions rather difficult. I either have to wake up really early and  start shooting at around 6:30 am or I have to shoot around 7 pm and worry about a heat stroke. It's really a lose-lose situation. I'm really ready for fall to get here, probably more than I ever have before. This will be my first fall as a photographer! Also, fall means football season, tailgating, and bbq.

Here is a sneak peek from a recent 7 pm engagement session. It was at least 100 degrees outside but we toughed it out!
